benko - mushroom & vine bourgeoisie brunch mini magnet
benko - mushroom & vine bourgeoisie brunch mini magnet
Each magnet in the bourgeoisie brunch collection is a meditation on greed, legacy, and the things that outlast us.
Tiny bones harvested from ethically sourced owl pellets have been arranged and aged with natural pigments to resemble forgotten relics - fragments of lives long picked clean. From these skeletal remnants, hand-crocheted flowers, mushrooms, and vines emerge, stitched with a 0.5 mm hook to suggest nature’s quiet reclamation of what wealth can never keep.
Every piece bears the name of a historic or infamous figure of power and corruption - not in reverence, but as a reminder, or perhaps a modest proposal, that even empires become compost. The result is part relic, part rebuke, and entirely handmade: a small, magnetic monument to beauty, decay, and the persistence of life.
Please note: these pieces are intended for display and collection, not play. They contain small magnets and delicate organic materials and are not suitable for children.
